Supervisor of Professional and Program Development
Jefferson-Lewis BOCES located in Watertown is seeking a Supervisor of Professional & Program Development.
The supervisor will be responsible for assisting component school districts & the BOCES in addressing professional program & 21st Century technology implementation. This will include assisting with needs assessment; providing resources; & planning, coordinating & delivering staff, curriculum & instructional support program development in an effective & cost efficient manner. In addition, the Supervisor will work with other BOCES staff to oversee Instructional Services programs currently offered by the Jefferson-Lewis BOCES including coordination of connected/distance learning, on-line learning, virtual field trips & NYSED standards implementation. Excellent communication skills required, along with being a team player, industrious, tactful, trustworthy in dealing with others & emphasis on exceptional customer service. New York State certification as a School District Administrator or School District Leader is required. Experience in staff/curriculum development, leading teachers and building level administration preferred.
This is a 12-month position with a salary range of $74,500-82,000 commensurate with experience. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2018. Apply by 2/2/18
